The Snug Wrap diaper cover pattern is an easy pattern for beginners, it can be used to create a variety of cloth diaper covers including a side snapping cover, a wool diaper cover, and more.

This pattern comes with four different pattern pieces to make the following sizes:
XS/Newborn: 6lbs - 12lbs
Small: 10lbs - 16lbs
Medium: 15lbs - 25lbs
Large: 24lbs - 40lbs

The yardages below are estimates to help you sew Snug Wrap diaper covers with the pattern as directed.

Fabric and Yardage Requirements

Suggested Fabrics & Yardages:		Single Cover	Twelve Covers
Outer Cover Body Layer	Fashion print fabric such as: 100% cotton, cotton/poly blend, or polyester knit (stretchy) or woven (not stretchy) prints.	5/8 yard of 60" wide fashion print will yield 2 outer body layers.	3 5/8 yard of 60" wide waterproof fabric will yield 12 waterproof diaper body layers
Waterproof Inner Layer	Waterproof fabric such as: Waterproof PUL. Ultrex, waterproof nylon, heavyweight polyester fleece such as Windpro, 200 weight fleece, felted and fulled wool. (Note: if using fleece or wool, omit outer fashion print).	5/8 yard of 60" wide waterproof fabric will yield 2 inner layers.	3 5/8 yards of 60" wide waterproof fabric will yield 12 inner layers and wing facings.

Notions

Thread: High quality 100% polyester thread.
Foldover Elastic Binding: 3/4", 5/8", or 1" wide fold over elastic bindings are all suitable. 22.5 yards will bind 12 covers. For single diaper ammounts, see below.
Hook and Loop: Aplix or Touchtape brand hook and loop sew on tape. See below.
Needles: 14/90 Universal Needles.

XS/Newborn	Small	Medium	Large
4 inches of hook, 12 inches of loop - 1" wide. 1 3/8 yard foldover elastic.	4 inches of hook, 12 inches of loop - 1" wide. 1 1/2 yard foldover elastic.	4 inches of hook, 15 inches of loop - 1.5" wide. 1 7/8 yard foldover elastic.	4 inches of 1.5" wide hook, 15 inches of 2" wide loop. 1 7/8 yard foldover elastic.
