About Very Baby
Frustrated with the difficulty of finding diaper-making supplies locally, and tired of waiting for months to receive goods ordered through co-ops, Very Baby was started by a parent, just like you, wanting to cater to the cloth diapering community by offering all the diaper making supplies you need—in one easy location, your home!
With owner Margarita McClure's unparalleled access to hard-to-find materials and supplies, her dedicated shipping staff, and stellar customer service team, Very Baby is now able to offer an even wider selection of cloth diaper materials—shipped out to your door 5 days a week—and with love.
But the Very Baby story didn't start there.
In 2002, Jessica Wiseman started the website verybaby.com to offer a wide variety of hard-to-find cloth diaper fabrics, specialty notions, and diaper sewing patterns to [crafty, creative and economical] parents worldwide. Opening under the name the One Stop Diaper Shop, the new kid on the block was an immediate success. Such a hit, Jessica's husband Eric quit his job to help grow the diaper fabric store, and together they were hands-on in ordering, cutting, and shipping diaper fabric and supplies all over the world!
After several years of consistent growth, in 2007, One Stop Diaper Shop became Very Baby. Very Baby launched, continuing to bring the diaper sewing community quality cloth diaper making supplies.
Throughout this time, Very Baby customer Margarita McClure had been building a successful business of her own; making premium, pre-made cloth diapers under the name Swaddlebees and Blueberry Diapers. In fact, Margarita first learned making cloth diapers after purchasing the Very Baby Basic AIO pattern back in 2004 for her first son, and always had a special place for Very Baby in her heart.
In early 2012, when Eric and Jessica decided to put Very Baby up for sale, it was a no-brainer, Margarita jumped at the opportunity to continue what Very Baby had established over the years.
Today, Margarita, brings her expertise and knowledge of cloth diapers and sewing to Very Baby, and continues to run it alongside her other businesses Swaddlebees, Blueberry Diapers, Pink Daisy & Buggy Baggs.
